    Does BoothIQ create duplicate contacts in HubSpot?

    No. When you scan a badge, BoothIQ searches your HubSpot portal by name, email, and company. If the contact already exists, BoothIQ updates the record instead of creating a new one.

    Do I need a paid BoothIQ plan for HubSpot sync?

    Yes. HubSpot sync is a Teams feature ($499/mo). The free Individual plan captures leads and exports via CSV, but does not sync to any CRM. On the HubSpot side, BoothIQ works with all HubSpot plans, including the free CRM.

    Can I see if a scanned lead is already in my CRM?

    Yes. When you scan a badge, BoothIQ checks HubSpot in real time. If the person is already a contact, you'll see their existing record and history right on the scan screen.

    What data syncs from BoothIQ to HubSpot?

    Contacts (name, email, phone, company, title, LinkedIn URL), notes (meeting summaries, conversation context, next steps), and deals. BoothIQ also adds custom properties to track which event and BoothIQ record the contact came from.
