A New Era of Event Analytics

John

Today we’re announcing BoothIQ Insights, a new way to ask anything about your events and event data in plain English.

For the longest time, the only information you had after an event was who you talked to. A stack of business cards. A spreadsheet of names.

BoothIQ took it a step further. Conversation recording captured who you talked to, what you talked about, and exactly what was said.

BoothIQ Insights adds the third layer. What were the most popular topics at the show? What are your customers’ pain points? What were they most interested in? Who on your team talked to the most people? How much pipeline did you generate? The answer comes back in seconds.

You had the who. BoothIQ gave you the what. Insights shows you what it all means.

Bigger than analytics

BoothIQ Insights doesn’t stop at reports. Claude can use the conversations and insights from every event you attend to help you make better decisions across your entire organization.

  • Marketing. Build campaigns around the exact problems your customers described in their own words. No more guessing what resonates.
  • Sales. Know who to follow up with first and why. Your reps get talking points grounded in real conversations, not CRM notes.
  • Product. See what customers say is broken, missing, or worth paying for. Tailor your roadmap to where the market is going based on what people actually said face to face.
  • Rev ops. Know how much pipeline you generated 24 hours after leaving the show. No waiting weeks for your team to clean up a spreadsheet.

FAQ

Does this work with ChatGPT, Gemini, or other AI tools?

Yes. BoothIQ Insights is a remote MCP server that conforms to the Model Context Protocol spec and is secured by OAuth 2.0. It’s compatible with any AI provider that supports remote MCP servers, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. The various providers have different levels of support for remote MCP servers. We feature Claude because, as of the time of writing, it’s the easiest to get started with. See our setup guide for step-by-step instructions.

What is an MCP server?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s an open standard that lets AI tools read data from external sources. BoothIQ’s MCP server gives AI tools secure, read-only access to your event data so you can ask questions about it in plain English.

Do I need to be technical to use this?

No. You ask questions the same way you’d ask a coworker. “What were people talking about at the show?” “Who should I follow up with first?” “Did anyone mention competitors?” The AI handles the rest. You can see more example questions on the BoothIQ Insights page.

Is my event data secure?

Yes. BoothIQ Insights provides read-only access to your own BoothIQ data. No one else can see it. Your AI provider processes queries according to their privacy policy. BoothIQ does not share your data with other users or third parties.

Does this cost extra?

BoothIQ Insights is free for all BoothIQ users. A Claude Pro or Max plan is required to connect custom connectors like BoothIQ.

What kinds of events does this work for?

Any event where you use BoothIQ to capture conversations. Trade shows, conferences, executive dinners, field marketing events. If you captured it, you can analyze it.
